How To Care For Your Gear

Remember these tips and suggestions to keep your gear in top condition:

  • Transport your skis/snowboard inside the car, in a rooftop carrier, or on a rooftop rack (bases down or together, tips to the back of the car, preferably in a bag or with a binding cover).
  • When flying, securely strap skis together and use a padded ski or snowboard bag
  • Dry your bases with a soft towel at the end of the day.
  • Wax your skis/snowboard (yourself or professionally) after every 3-5 snow days.
  • Bring your skis/snowboard in for a Custom Tune after every 8-10 snow days.
  • For their protection, store your skis/snowboards at the end of the season with a good tune and a coat of hot wax. Plus, then they'll be ready to go next season.
